Project Management

Current/Recent projects

Since 1982 O'Neill Construction Services has been helping homeowners and businesses in Southern California become more comfortable, appealing and efficient. From concept to completion, the involvement of professionals from OCS can make the difference between  planned, successful completion and a costly debacle.

With a custom millwork shop and skilled joiners, OCS can create the exact style you as a homeowner or designer are seeking. Please take the time necessary to peruse the following pages and feel free to contact us. A small floorplan need not be a boring one, character can be installed room by room once a direction has been decided!

Here are some of our current and more recent projects, this web site will be updated as time allows to reflect the latest creations (and re-creations) we're involved with.

Our work has been featured in Sunset magazine, HGTV and Country Living. Sunset has released a book entitled "Cottage style decorating". Molly English's house is featured on the cover with many more pictures inside. Molly's book "Camps and Cottages" shows many examples of our work too. This was one of our most photographed projects, associated as we were with the original owner, Becky Clarke, now of McCall, Idaho.

Over the past 20 plus years in the Orange County area. we have been privileged to work with many talented architects and designers, among them Gep Durenberger, Becky Carke, Jill Tilton, Barclay Butera and Angela Tesselaar. All have their own style, and the experience gained from working with them has helped us become better, more versatile builders.

If a more "restoration" inspired feel is what you have in mind, please take the time to look at these pictures of a beautiful Italianate house located in the historic district of Tustin, Ca.

This house was given a new lease on life while being totally updated throughout. Despite being located directly under the flight path of nearby Orange County airport, it now remains comfortable and quiet all year round.

Small California bungalows dating back to the turn of the century are being torn down at an alarming rate as land prices rise. In contrast to the "bigger is better" trend, we feel that these houses are heirlooms to be treasured along with their simpler lifestyle. Our thanks to the owner, Dave Arnold of Hillcrest Homes for his foresight and good taste. If you are interested in learning more about what can be done to make your smaller house a joy to live in, by all means contact us.

On the following pages we've attempted to both show what OCS can do for you and also give ideas that you may want to incorporate into your home/facility design. While the constraints of time and distance may prohibit us from being your contractor, our design team may be able to help. Our shop can create custom doors, windows or just templates for your contractor to use.

Please excuse any confusion while this site is being built, we give 110% to our clients, that leaves little time for on line creativity. We'll update as regularly as time allows.
